Wooden toy puzzle

Here is a plan of puzzle. It is also may be made of plywood or veneer.

If it is made of wood it will serve you for many years, however, you can use cardboard for that.

First you have to print this puzzle (thin paper or filigree is desirable) and stick it on a surface of desired material -- cardboard or wood. Then you have to cut it into pieces, like shown below.



After you cut out the vertical strips 1,2,3...6 (in this case 6) you have to cut out wooden puzzle parts by cutting them horizontally. Be careful with your fretsaw. 

Well, when all parts of puzzle are made, scrap printed paper plan from your wooden puzzle parts away and join them together. Do you like that? Now it is time to make a painting. 

 Chose any picture you like. The best way to apply the picture to puzzle is to print it on a sticky glossy paper. Then stick your picture onto surface and, using sharp knife or blade separate the parts again. Puzzle is ready! You may also try to paint the puzzle with dyes if you have some talent.
