First, you should make the chassis of a truck.
Use 3-4 mm plywood for this toy. Draw the contour of a chassis and cut it out with a saw or fretsaw. Then you will have to cut out two crampons. Draw them on thick piece of tin and cut with heavy scissors. Then drill the crampons with 2 mm drill and bend them by dotted line. Fasten the crampons to chassis with nails.
It is time to make the cabin and engine jacket (hood)
You will need wooden bars. Saw off the hatched parts and polish the bars with cabinet file. Then round the angles of hood. After that you should grind your workpiece with sandpaper. Stick two veneer plates to the sides of the hood. Engine jacket is ready now. To make the cabine of wooden toy you will also need the bar. Saw off the hatched parts and process the side parts it with file. Stick the plates with pre-cut windows to the cabin. Stick the veneer plate with pre-cut screen to the front side. Glaze the windows with plexiglass or celluloid. After all parts are joined together, wait for complete insiccation of all glued parts ant then process the cabin with sandpaper and stick plywood or cardboard doors. Well, the cabin of wooden toy track is also ready. The only thing you have to make is body foundation. Use 8 mm pine board or plywood.
